MTN Bushfire 2017 Artist Applications now closed.

Each year a multi-generational global community of more than 26,000 “BRING THEIR FIRE” to the scenic farmlands of the Malkerns Valley to experience the three day event.
After an overwhelming response from performing acts all across the globe the artist application process for MTN Bushfire 2017(26-28th May) is now officially closed. This year’s application process saw over 900 performing acts from over 45 countries including but not limited to Colombia, Gabon, Nigeria, Kenya, India, China, Australia , Italy and Swaziland applied to be part of the festival named as one of the seven African festivals you really have to see’ by CNN and as the “top African festival” by BBC.
For the application process MTN Bushfire has been looking for inspired African and international musicians as well as artists in all creative mediums to “Bring their Fire” and support this mandate that sees local partners benefiting from a portion of ticket sales on an annual basis.
MTN Bushfire supports child-headed household and AIDS orphans through NGO Young Heroes, as well as contributes 100% of merchandise proceeds to non-profit Gone Rural boMake’s community development projects.
MTN Bushfire provides unparalleled opportunity for both established and emerging talent to set the fire alight at this high profile event attracting attendees from across Africa and around the world.
