The profits from all MTN BUSHFIRE merchandise goes to Gone Rural boMake
At Bushfire 2011, Gone Rural boMake raised E28,000 for rural development projects through sales of merchandise during the festival.
Gone Rural boMake is a non-profit organisation in the Kingdom of Swaziland (Southern Africa), founded by Gone Rural (Pty) to assist rural women and their communities with education, health and social needs. Gone Rural contributes with income generation for the women while Gone Rural boMake complements this progress with wellness, education and community development services for the women artisans, their children and their communities, leading to the fulfilment of basic human and women rights.
Gone Rural boMake intervention areas are: Health, Water, Education and Women Empowerment.
Gone Rural boMake’s activities are carried out within the 13 groups of 740 women artisans of Gone Rural and positively impact these women, their dependents and the community with a network of about 5,600 people.
