MTN Bushfire 2018 Open Call For Artists

MTN Bushfire 2018 announces the launch of artist applications which open on the 14th of August for candidates interested in participating in the 12th edition of one of the top 7 festivals in Africa as listed by BBC. Scheduled for 25 – 27 May 2018, MTN Bushfire’s eclectic and multi-dimensional programming is rooted in world music – with a particular emphasis on African sounds – and further features a compelling line-up of theatre, poetry, dance, Art exhibits & installations, story-telling, puppetry, film, speakers, and themed workshops.

The festival is looking for inspired African and international musicians and artists in all creative mediums to “Bring Your Fire” and support the festival’s call to action mandate that donates a percentage of profits to Swaziland’s orphans through NGO, Young Heroes and 100% merchandise proceeds to non-profit BoMake Rural Projects’ community development projects.
