The first-ever #KeepTheFireBurning Digital Festival was truly unforgettable and incredibly inspiring! The digital version of MTN Bushfire was a powerful reflection of the spirit of inclusion and connectedness that saw over 5,000 online viewers from 63 countries, plus an estimated 130,000 TV viewers in Eswatini gather around this digital flame.

Inspired by the festival’s #BRINGYOURFIRE call to action for positive change, the #KeepTheFireBurning live-cast was part of MTN Bushfire’s COVID-19 response to support our beneficiaries, Young Heroes and boMake Rural Projects. The live stream and fundraising drive raised a total of E102,958.00 for MTN Bushfire’s beneficiaries to continue supporting the most vulnerable families in Eswatini during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Viewers were able to enjoy a diversity of performances and conversations on social causes and the environment, in essence recreating the unique atmosphere of the MTN Bushfire festival that keeps Fire Starters from around the world coming back year after year.

We invite you to keep yourselves warm with the MTN Bushfire flame, and #KeepTheFireBurning as we build up to MTN Bushfire 2021, taking place from 28 to 31 May, 2021!
