MTN Bushfire’s ongoing partnership with the Africa Rising Music Conference (ARMC) has resulted in an exciting opportunity for creatives everywhere to tune in to a series of arts industry online panel workshops aimed at professionalising the arts sector in Eswatini and beyond.
MTN Bushfire and ARMC’s collective vision to connect Eswatini and Africa to the world by hosting international delegates through a range of workshops continues to be one of Africa’s leading collaborations, building bridges between the African and European music markets.
This year our partnership introduces a series of 3 Online Workshops, culminating in the Arts Round Table / ARMC workshop held annually at the MTN Bushfire festival. The next edition of the MTN Bushfire Arts Round Table will take place on Friday, 31st May 2024.
The Arts Round Table will host speakers from the region and around the world, all with expertise across various pillars of the music business ecosystem. Applications to attend the Arts Round Table will be opened in February 2024.
Meanwhile, the Online Workshops are designed to provide an enriching and collaborative experience by bringing together a global collective of young executives and individuals within the creative economy in a series of panel discussions.
The Online Workshops can be attended by applicants from anywhere across the globe looking to professionalize their craft and grow their networks in the arts industry. Artists, distributors, event bookers, labels, managers, publishers, promotors and others who make a living from the creative economy are all welcome to attend.

In 2022, MTN Bushfire and the Berlin-based Africa Rising Music Conference formed a 3-year partnership to enhance the annual MTN Bushfire Arts Round Table, which comprises of a series of industry workshops that takes place on the Friday of the Bushfire weekend.
The Arts Round Table connects Eswatini’s arts industry practitioners with seasoned international arts industry professionals to discuss thematically driven conversations around the professionalization and development of the arts. These workshops were proudly supported by FNB Eswatini in 2022 and 2023.
