Bring Your Fire
#BRINGYOURFIRE is MTN Bushfire’s inspiring call to action that encourages the proactive contribution of the individual towards addressing pertinent social and environmental issues. Your Fire is your energy, your spirit, your passion, and your drive to make a tangible difference!
The #BRINGYOURFIRE mandate guides the festival’s conscious and continuous efforts to challenge discrimination based on race, gender, sexuality or religion, and encourage an environmentally sustainable lifestyle.
Energising this call to action, MTN Bushfire resolutely uses it’s creative platforms to engage with a range of social issues, through the festival’s carefully curated programme streams, zones and activations.
#BRINGYOURFIRE finds its strongest expression in the Bring Your Fire Zone, a festival space dedicated to creative advocacy, where artists, activists, visionaries, volunteers and socially-attuned organisations come together, lending their voices, talents, skills and resources to this inclusive vision.
