Here’s a chance for filmmaking gurus resident in Eswatini to join House On Fire’s new project, CollaboNation!
House On Fire is looking for the best of the best in filmmaking for our dynamic new project, CollaboNation, to tell remarkable and original stories portrayed through a series of unique music collaborations by artists in the Southern African region. We are looking for qualified storytellers with a strong interest in the arts, and experience in filmmaking, who can offer high quality cinematography.
The CollaboNation project offers singers and musicians from Eswatini, Lesotho, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and Botswana the opportunity to join musical forces and create unique pieces of original cross-genre songs, culminating in a performance at the MTN Bushfire festival and a professional music video. Please note that applications are currently only open to residents in Eswatini.
You will need to provide:
- Proof of experience in the filmmaking industry required. Please share a referral from past client or project collaborator
- Links to your work e.g. portfolio, website, social media, etc
- A brief letter of personal motivation of why you feel this call out is for you and what you can offer the project
- Do you own your equipment? that would be a plus. If so please provide full breakdown of your gear (Sony A7S3 or equivalent preferred)
This is a chance for an individual, a company or a crew to work closely with House On Fire, the MTN Bushfire music festival, as well as long-time media partner, Makhulu Media, to tell amazing stories around the arts in Africa.
