It’s official – tickets to the MTN Bushfire 2024 festival have sold out on all platforms!
Winner of the Most Responsible Event Award at the African Responsible Tourism Awards in 2017 and hailed by CNN as one of the “7 African music festivals you really have to see,” MTN Bushfire is looking forward to Reigniting the Fire in the beautiful, peaceful valley of Malkerns, in the Kingdom of Eswatini, for an energizing 3-day weekend from 31 May – 2nd June!
In true MTN Bushfire style, the eclectic and exciting line-up this year features a host of pan-African and international artists from across different genres; acts like Amadou & Mariam (ML), Thandiswa Mazwai (ZA), Oddisee & Good Company (US), Bholoja (SZ), Jeremy Loops (ZA), and Musa Keys (ZA) on Main Stage; Camilla George (UK), Guy Buttery & Nibs van der Spuy (ZA), Féten Féten (ES) and Sarnilo (SZ) on the House On Fire Amphitheatre Stage, as well as Da Capo (ZA), Daliwonga (ZA), and Vigro Deep (ZA) on The Ballantine’s Firefly Stage, as well as a host of other acts that will inspire and entertain!
Festivalgoers can look forward to exploring the many strands of the wholesome and family-friendly tapestry of MTN Bushfire at the Global Food Village, UN Bring Your Fire Zone, Barn Marketplace, KidZone and more!

Remember, MTN Bushfire is a Cashless festival. Instead, money is loaded onto your festival wristband NFC chip for in-festival purchases. Festivalgoers can Pre-Load funds onto their tickets via their Howler accounts or, in Eswatini, with MTN Mobile Money (MoMo). Mobile Money is also a payment option for in-festival Top Ups and can be used for purchases from registered MoMo vendors at the festival.
MTN Bushfire does not encourage buying tickets from third parties as we cannot guarantee they are legitimate.
Beat The Queues and get your festival wristband on Thursday, 30th May 2024! Full Festival Golden Lounge, Main Arena and Children’s ticket-holders can get wristbanded at any of the following MTN Eswatini outlets and service centres:
Mbabane Service Centre at Corporate Place, Mbabane: 9am to 4:30pm
Shaks Cellular at The Gables, Ezulwini: 9am to 4:30pm.
Manzini Service Centre at the Manzini Lifestyle Center: 9am to 4:30pm.
Please Note:
- No other Ticket Types will be scanned including Camping Tickets, Traders Tickets, Artists Passes, Media Passes or Y’ello Lounge Tickets.
- Please come with your ticket downloaded on your phone/tablet or printed off on a piece of paper to avoid delays.
- Wristbands are valid for 3 days (31st May 2024 – 02 June 2024)
- Do not remove or tamper with your wristband until after the festival has ended. Removing or tampering with your wristband automatically forfeits your access to the festival. If you need your wristband adjusted, please ask a member of the accreditation staff to do it.
