Harambee Hotel is a unique and luxurious camping experience aimed at catering for music festivals and events in and around Africa. The concept blends the thrill of glamorous camping with none of the hassle of having to do it yourself.
When staying in one of our luxury tents you will experience a world away from home that will be unforgettable as we provide all the top-end amenities. Our unique tented accommodation provides the romance of safari style camping of yesteryear with modern creature comforts.

With 2023 just around the corner we’re looking forward to welcoming back old friends and meeting new ones too! Our camp will be set up in its usual, prime spot between the sugarcane and shady pecan nut trees, a short walk (300m) from the entertainment area. Space is limited and is expected to sell out as we do every year – check out our website at harambeehotel.com for up to date announcements and bookings.

For 2023 we aim to implement QR code tickets for Harambee to streamline check-ins and prevent the usual late afternoon bottlenecks associated with late crossings from South Africa!

Check in: From 10:00am on the morning of the first day of accommodation.
Check out: No later than midday (12pm) on the day of departure. Late check out will result in the charging of a levy equal to one day’s accommodation rate.

Camping includes:

Standing room tents occupying a maximum of 2 people with the option of twin or double beds (tents are not sold per person). Each tent comes with a bedside table lamp and power to charge electronic gadgets.
Hot showers, VIP flush toilets, real beds and linen (no bean bags or stretchers).
An executive chef will prepare gourmet breakfasts and coffee every morning in Harambee’s restaurant and chill area.
A special blend of home-grown hospitality.

Bookings:

Accommodation dates are limited between Wednesday 26 May 2022 and Sunday 28 May 2023.
Check–in and check out dates are required per booking with an indication of the number of nights.
Every tent must indicate whether it is a Double Bed Tent or a Twin Bed Tent (two singles). There is a fixed amount of double and twin bed tents available (late bookings can’t be assured of double bed availability and will automatically revert to Twin Beds).
Booking excludes festival ticket.
Bookings are only confirmed once Harambee Hotel (Pty) Ltd) has received 100% of the booking/ticket amount and the client has received a booking confirmation from Harambee. Bookings cannot be transferred.
Bookings cancelled by user more than 30 days before the booking date are eligible for a 70% refund.
Bookings cancelled less than 30 days of the scheduled time of arrival will result in forfeiture of the full confirmation fee (by then crew and gear have been mobilised). No refunds for late cancellations.

Safari Glamping Tents:
Our sturdy spacious walk-in canvas tents contain two comfy beds, clean cosy warm linen, towels, a dressing table with a mirror, two director chairs and an electrical plug point to charge your cell phone or use your hair dryer.

Private Showers:
Rush adventures’ tent hotels provide each tent with your own personal hot shower and serviced porta potty toilet located discreetly behind each tent, giving you absolute privacy.

Catering:
Our new Swati gourmet chef, Phindile will be preparing a superb breakfast for our clients yet again. Each morning we include a full English breakfast at our new chill zone area consisting of Eggs, Bacon, fried tomatoes alternating with yummy Sausages and savoury mince for extra energy. There will be three cereals available with fresh yogurt with toast and various spreads for comfort eating. Fresh orange Juice with tea and coffee will be available during breakfast, getting you ready for the action-packed days and nights of incredible activities.

Rush Adventures tent hotels is offering clients additional comfortable Pro Dome glamping accommodation tents at Bushfire 2023. We are aiming at adding in our Pro Dome tented camp making 2023 an absolute blast for all our special people that choose our homely comfortable camps while visiting this great festival. Each walk-in pro Dome tent consists of two single beds with full linen and blankets.

Ablutions & Showers
Rush adventure’s Pro Dome tented accommodation will be provided with a serviced communal ablution trailer with hot showers and flushing toilets.
